Explore Presidio's Hidden Treasures
Take your date on an adventure through the Presidio. It has it all: Great views? Check. Yoda statue? Check. Palace of Fine Arts? Check. Nature? Check. Exercise? Check.
Route Recommendations:
Rec 1
-Start at Lyon Street Steps (Broadway is the top entrance into the park, but if you want to work on the calves, get dropped off on Green and walk up (you'll pass one of the iconic SF hearts on the way up)
-Enter the Presidio from the top and walk down Andy Goldsworthy's Wood Line
-At the end, get onto Presidio Blvd and stay on until before the USPS office where there should be trails to guide you to the Yoda statue (grab a Starbucks nearby)
-Venture to the top of the Main Post Lawn (there are lots of routes, but from Yoda you'll most likely go down Jefferson Dr and go straight onto Presidio Blvd - don't turn a right onto Lincoln Blvd)
-Head down the Main Post Lawn (have a picnic, stop in the Walt Disney Museum, or grab snacks or drinks from the visitor center)
-Make your way to the Palace of Fine Arts

-Start at the Palace of Fine Arts (walk around)
-Walk up to the Yoda Statue (grab a Starbucks nearby)
-Make way to top of the Main Post Lawn
-Head down the Main Post Lawn (have a picnic, stop in the Walt Disney Museum, or grab snacks or drinks from the visitor center)
-Walk to Crissy Field East Beach (lots of dogs and great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz)
Tips:
-Bring the essentials for a picnic (crowd pleaser with dates) -There are a couple of restaurants around the park: Arguello (near the top of Main Post Lawn) and Sessions at the Presidio (near Yoda statue).
-The Walt Disney Museum will add 2-3 more hours to the date, but it's worth it.
